Mission Statement

The Language Program of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma continues in the endeavor of revitalizing and perpetuating our language and culture to anyone who desires to learn the language.  We will provide multiple avenues to reach all levels of learners. Historical information, cultural knowledge, and traditional customs are included within language instruction. With faith and spiritual guidance, we will preserve and promote the language to our tribal members with the knowledge that our language exists as a distinct feature of  our tribal sovereignty.
